What Speed Do You Read?

Posted by:

A good book is hard to put down. But if you’re enjoying it on an eReader you eventually have to break and recharge. How many pages can you get through before your battery runs out? How fast can you read classics like The Lord of the Rings or War and Peace? Check your reading speed on this fun interactive infographic and compare it to the national average.

I have a Kindle Keyboard and it lasts for weeks, depending on how many hours I read. (I think e-readers should state their battery life in hours, not days or weeks as they do now. *rolls eyes* A week for an avid reader flipping pages for hours on end is not the same as a week for someone who rarely picks up a book.) Anyhow… I keep the wireless off unless I’m downloading–that definitely helps–and I watch the battery icon. I can read at least 2 or 3 books before it needs recharging.

I haven’t figured that out yet. I do know I read at a decent pace so I han only guess, maybe 200? I use a Nook Color.
